Abstract

"SEPARADOR DE COMBUSTìVEL/áGUA". Um elemento rotativo inclui um alojamento cilíndrico, uma tarraxa de mão em uma extremidade do alojamento, e um anel adaptador suportado por e unido à outra extremidade do alojamento. Uma bacia de coleta pode ser fixada de forma rosqueada ao anel adaptador. Um tubo de suporte interno não perfurado no alojamento separa de forma fluida uma abertura central na tarraxa de mão a partir das aberturas periféricas. O tubo interno possui uma superfície interna que define uma câmara central em comunicação por fluido com a abertura central. Um tubo de suporte externo perfurado cerca o tubo de suporte interno, e possui uma superfície externa definindo uma câmara periférica no alojamento. Os tubos de suporte interno e externo juntos definem uma câmara intermediária, em comunicação por fluido com as aberturas periféricas na tarraxa de mão. Um entrelaçamento coalescente de água de náilon cerca o tubo de suporte externo, e é enrolado sobre as extremidades do tubo externo. Uma primeira tampa de extremidade compreendendo uma gaxeta de espuma com aberturas para permitir que o fluido entre na câmara intermediária é disposta em uma extremidade dos tubos de suporte. Uma segunda tampa de extremidade com uma abertura central suporta as outras extremidades dos tubos e é suportada no dito anel adaptador. Um caminho de fluxo periférico é definido entre a periferia da segunda tampa de extremidade e o alojamento e internamente do anel adaptador, o caminho de fluxo periférico permitindo uma comunicação em fluido entre a câmara periférica e a câmara central.
