Abstract
"TRANSPONDER RF E MéTODO PARA MEDIR PARâMETROS ASSOCIADOS COM UM OBJETO MONITORADO" Trata-se de um transponder de freq³ência de rádio (RF) capaz de medir parâmetros associados com um objeto e transmitir dados para uma leitora/interrogador externo (106, 400). Em uso com um pneumático (104), o transponder mede a temperatura e a pressão dentro do pneumático. O transponder inclui o circuitamento (226) para controlar janelas de tempo (W~ T~ e W~ P~) durante as quais medidas de temperatura e de pressão em tempo real são feitas e para armazenar (236) dados de calibragem, número de ID do transponder e semelhantes e para transmitir esta informação em um fluxo de dados (Figura 3C) para a leitora/interrogador. Uma condição de temperatura excessiva também pode ser percebida (MTMS 218) e incluída no fluxo de dados. O circuitamento do transponder de preferência é implementado em um único chip IC ( 204), utilizando as tecnologia CMOS, com poucos componentes externos ao chip IC. O transponder de preferência é passivo, derivando sua força de operação a partir de um sinal RF proporcionado pela leitora/interrogador externo. In use with a tire (104), the transponder measures the temperature and pressure inside the tire. The transponder includes the circuitry (226) to control time windows (W ~ T ~ and W ~ P ~) during which real-time temperature and pressure measurements are made and to store (236) calibration data, number of Transponder ID and the like and to transmit this information in a data stream (Figure 3C) to the reader / interrogator. An over temperature condition can also be perceived (MTMS 218) and included in the data stream. The circuitry of the transponder is preferably implemented on a single IC chip (204), using CMOS technology, with few components external to the IC chip. The transponder is preferably passive, deriving its operating strength from an RF signal provided by the external reader / interrogator. The data (N ~ T ~) indicative of temperature and the data (N ~ P ~) indicative of pressure are both transmitted to the reader / interrogator, together with the calibration data. Calibration data stored by the transponder and transmitted in the data stream is an N ~ T ~ / N ~ P ~ curve, or the "correlated" response of the temperature count divided by the pressure count, which is determined during calibration of the transponder .
