"FLUIDO PARA PERFURAçãO à BASE DE áGUA, COMPOSIçãO PARA MISTURAR COM áGUA PARA FORMAR UM FLUIDO PARA PERFURAçãO, E, PROCESSO PARA PERFURAR UM FURO DE POçO HORIZONTAL COM UM FLUIDO PARA PERFURAçãO". é divulgada uma composição compreendendo uma argila inchável por água, particularmente uma argila montmorillonita de sódio tal como a bentonita, carbonato de sódio e um biopolímero solúvel em água, particularmente um biopolímero de xantana. A composição quando misturada com água doce forma uma lama aquosa para perfuração que possui as propriedades de fluido desejadas incluindo um elevado perfil de resistência de gel de 10 segundos/10 minutos/30 minutos e uma baixa perda API de fluido, para uso em perfurações direcionais sem abertura de vala, incluindo perfuração direcional mini-horizontal, furacão guiada, perfuração por trado, encamisamento de tubulação, microtúneis e travessia de rios. A composição misturada com um meio aquoso proporciona uma lama para perfuração à base aplicável a perfurações direcionais sem abertura de vala em uma formação de solo não consolidada e particularmente em um ambiente contaminado com água salgada tal como água do mar.
