Abstract

"INSTALAçãO DE FILTRO SUBSTITUìVEL E SITEMAS FILTRANTE E RESPIRATóRIO". A presente invenção provê uma instalação de filtro (124) que inclui um elemento de filtro (128) e um dispositivo de memória (402). O dispositivo de memória (402) permite que um registro do uso do elemento de filtro seja disponível em qualquer tempo, até mesmo se a instalação de filtro (124) for cambiada de um sistema flutuante para um outro. Em outra concretização da invenção, a instalação de filtro (124) interage com um dispositivo de filtração, tal como a unidade de ar (130), que atualiza periodicamente o dispositivo de memória (402) enquanto a unidade de ar (130) for operacional. A unidade de ar (130) também verifica periodicamente para ver se a instalação de filtro (124) atingiu o fim de sua vida útil. Se este for o caso, a unidade de ar provê um alarme audível e/ou visual.
