Abstract
"AMORTECEDOR DE VIBRAçãO". Um aparelho para reduzir vibração tem um berço para afixação a um corpo vibratório, tal como a armação de uma aeronave. Uma placa é espaçada do berço com uma massa interposta. um primeiro anel elastomérico é comprimido entre a massa e o berço, e um segundo anel elastomérico é comprimido entre a massa e a placa. Os anéis atuam como uma mola tendo uma rigidez que define uma freq³ência ressonante à qual a massa oscila. A vibração no coro é reduzida pelo deslocamento da massa absorvendo energia vibratória e a absorção de energia é maximizada quando a massa ressoa à freq³ência de vibração. Um controlador detecta a vibração do corpo e opera um mecanismo que altera o espaçamento entre o berço e a placa dessa forma ajustando a rigidez da mola. A rigidez da mola é variada até a freq³ência ressonante da massa ser sintonizada com a freq³ência de vibração do corpo.
