Abstract
"MATERIAL DE ATRITO, PROCESSO DE PREPARAçãO DO MESMO, E, REVESTIMENTO DE FREIO". Um material de atrito compreendendo uma massa sinterizada de ferro, na qual partículas de grafite são dispersadas, cuja massas sinterizada é formada de 13 a 22%, em volume, de fibras de ferro, 13 a 22%, em volume, de partículas de ferro com um tamanho de partícula de 10 a 400<109>m, 40 a 70%, em volume, de partículas de grafite com um tamanho de partícula entre 25 e 3.000<109>m, e 10 a 15%, em volume, de um aglutinante metálico com um ponto de fusão entre 800 e 1140°C, e um processo de preparar um tal material de atrito, no qual uma mistura deste componentes é comprimida a uma pressão de pelo menos 100 MPa, de modo a formar um compacto possuindo forma e tamanho desejados, e onde o compacto assim formado é sinterizado a uma temperatura entre 800 e 1140°C por um período de tempo suficientemente longo para se obter a concreção das fibras de ferro, partículas de ferro e aglutinante metálico.
