Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"MéTODO PARA A OXIDAçãO DE SUBSTâNCIAS LìQUIDAS DE ESCAPE CONTENDO MATéRIA ORGâNICA"<D>. A presente invenção refere-se a um método para essencialmente completar a oxidação de uma substância líquida concentrada (33) contendo matéria orgânica oxidável, compreendendo as etapas a seguir realizadas sob substancial pressão superatmosférica. De acordo com a presente invenção (a) uma alimentação (12) da substância líquida concentrada (33), pré-aquecida (30, 31) a uma temperatura maior do que cerca de 10°C abaixo do ponto de ebulição da água na dita pressão superatmosférica, é oxidada (1) essencialmente de forma completa a uma temperatura de pelo menos 800°C com um gás (13) contendo pelo menos 60 por cento em volume de oxigênio resultando em uma suspensão (4) de gás quente e escória em fusão; (b) a escória em fusão é separada do gás quente (5) e dissolvida em água (15); e (c) o gás quente separado (5) é esfriado (7) a uma temperatura abaixo de 250°C com um líquido aquoso (8) e em seguida retirado (23).
