Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "SEQuêNCIAS DE POLINUCLEOTìDEOSOTIMIZADAS PARA A EXPRESSãO DE TOXINAS PESTICIDASEM PLANTAS". A invenção exposta refere-se aos materiais emétodos úteis no controle de pragas e, particularmente, pragas deplantas. Os genes descritos aqui, os quais codificam as toxinaspesticidas, são preferivelmente usados para transformar as plantasa fim de conferir resistência à praga nas ditas plantas. Usando-seos genes descritos aqui, a transformação das plantas pode serefetuada utilizando-se práticas conhecidas para aqueles versadosna técnica. Os genes da invenção exposta são otimizados para aexpressão da toxina nas plantas. Em uma modalidade, a invençãoexposta proporciona novos genes de B.t. otimizados para asplantas, híbridos, e genes de B.t. truncados, relacionados, quecodificam as toxinas. Os genes truncados são preferivelmenteusados para a produção de genes e proteínas de fusão (ouquiméricos).Invention Patent: "SEQUENCES OF OPTIMIZED POLYNUCLEOTIDS FOR THE EXPRESSION OF PESTICIDED TOXINS IN PLANTS". The exposed invention relates to materials and methods useful in pest control and, in particular, plant pests. The genes described here, which encode toxin-pesticides, are preferably used to transform the plants in order to confer resistance to the pest on said plants. Using the genes described here, the transformation of plants can be accomplished using practices known to those skilled in the art. The genes of the exposed invention are optimized for the expression of the toxin in plants. In one embodiment, the exposed invention provides new B.t. optimized for plants, hybrids, and B.t. truncated, related, which encode toxins. The truncated genes are preferably used for the production of fusion (orquimeric) genes and proteins.
