Abstract

"POLIéSTER TERMICAMENTE ESTáVEL E PROCESSO PARA PRODUZIR UMA RESINA DE POLIéSTER TERMICAMENTE ESTáVEL". Esta invenção refere-se a um poliéster termicamente estável, compreendendo: uma resina de poliéster preparada pela adição de um ácido dicarboxílico em um composto glicólico, dito ácido dicarboxílico sendo selecionado do grupo consistindo de ácidos dicarboxilicos alifáticos, tendo um total de 3 a 16 átomos de carbono, ácidos dicarboxílicos alicíclicos tendo de 7 a 12 átomos de carbono, ácidos dicarboxilicos aromáticos contendo um total de 8 a 16 átomos de carbono e suas combinações, e em que dito glicol é selecionado do grupo consistindo de glicóis tendo de 2 a 12 átomos de carbono, éteres glicólicos tendo de 4 a 12 átomos de carbono e suas combinações, dita resina de poliéster tendo sido preparada na presença de um sistema catalisador consistindo essencialmente de um ou mais compostos de antimónio, que não é reagido com ácidos <244>-hidróxi carboxílicos, ácidos <244>,<225> dicarboxílicos ou seus derivados.
