Abstract

Label holders used for closing and sealing bags have the disadvantage of having to be individualized (numbered) since one type of violation would be destroying the label holder to withdraw the security seal intact and then substituting it with a new label holder and re-using the seal. The label holder of this invention has two protuberances (16, 17) formed with rectangular openings (18, 19) on one portion thereof, which pass through two corresponding openings (20, 21) in the other portion when the label holder is closed. Two stops (22, 23), one on each side of the strip of the outer surface (11 min ) between the two openings (20, 21) are provided. The security seal (26) has a capsule (29) and a lock (27) interconnected by a thread (28), which in the sealed configuration are separated by the first protuberance (16), a part (46) of the lock passing through the opening (18) in such protuberance and a head (31) of the lock being locked within the capsule (29). The said part (40) is connected to the head (31) by weakenings (39). A blade (30) projecting from the capsule (29) has a free end which passes through the opening (19) in the other protuberance (17) and is formed with a lateral projection (45) which engages behind such projection (17).
