A bola é provida de uma superfície externa (1) compreendendo concavidades ou depressões (2) circulares, igualmente espaçadas e uniformemente distribuídas ao longo da superfície externa (1) de dita bola. Adjacentes as ditas concavidades (2) são definidas áreas salientes (3), de superfície convexa e que, em conjunto com ditas concavidades ou depressões (2), definem a superfície externa (1) da bola esportiva."ARRANGEMENT INTRODUCED IN SPORT BALL".
