Abstract

ARTIGO ABSORVENTE BIODEGRADÁVEL, KIT DE PEÇAS PARA DESCARTAR UM ARTIGO ABSORVENTE BIODEGRADÁVEL, E, MÉTODO DE DESCARTE DE UM ARTIGO ABSORVENTE BIODEGRADÁVEL. É fornecido um artigo absorvente autobiodegradável formado pelo menos em parte a partir de um polímero biodegradável que inclui um produto de microorganismo inativado. O artigo absorvente contém um ou mais microorganismos que são projetados para secretar uma enzima que degrada o biopolímero, que pode ser um polímero de polihidroxibutirato. O microrganismo pode secretar naturalmente a enzima ou pode ser geneticamente modificado para secretar a enzima. Os microorganismos ou bactérias incorporados no artigo absorvente são particularmente selecionados com base em sua tolerância ao sal e produção de enzimas em certas concentrações de sal.
