Abstract

MÉTODO E SISTEMA PARA OPERAR UM MOTOR DE IGNIÇÃO POR PRESSÃO. A presente invenção refere-se a um método e sistema para operar um motor de compressão com um combustível que contém éter obtido pela conversão de um combustível primário à base de álcool, o qual compreende as etapas e meios para: (a) a retirada contínua do combustível primário a base de álcool de um tanque de combustível e a pressurização do combustível primário à base de álcool em sua forma líquida até uma pressão de injeção do motor final; (b) a introdução contínua do combustível primário à base de álcool pressurizado em uma câmara de acumulação de combustível; (c) a distribuição contínua do combustível primário à base de álcool pressurizado em tubulações que conectam a câmara de acumulação com os injetores de combustível do motor; (d) antes dos injetores de combustível, a conversão contínua do combustível primário à base de álcool pressurizado em um combustível que contém éter através do contato com um catalisador de desidratação do álcool que está é arranjado em cada uma das tubulações a montante dos injetores de combustível; (e) a injeção contínua do combustível que contém éter à pressão de injeção no motor; e (f) a retirada contínua de uma parte do combustível primário introduzido à base de álcool da câmara de acumulação; e (g) a despressurização e a reciclagem do combustível primário à base de álcool retirado ao tanque combustível.
