Em uma concretização os rótulos compreendem uma camada de material de face polimérico (11), uma camada nano-porosa (12) subjacente ao material de face, e uma camada adesiva (16) subjacente à camada nano-porosa. Em uma outra concretização, os rótulos compreendem uma camada de material de face polimérico (11), uma camada nano-porosa (12) subjacente ao material de face, e uma camada de metal (13) sobrejacente ao material de face (11) ou subjacente ao material de face (11) entre o material de face e a camada nano-porosa (12). Estes rótulos podem ser aglutinados a substratos de vidro, plástico, ou metal utilizando-se um adesivo à base de água que fica em contacto com a camada nano-porosa.
