Abstract
"âNCORA DE LEITO MARINHO". Trata-se de uma âncora de sucção (10) que compreende um caixão (12) com uma parede lateral (14), um fundo aberto (22) e um topo fechado (26) que definem o volume interno do caixão. Quando a âncora é colocada sobre um leito marinho (100) de lama fluente, um conector de topo (28) permite a conexão temporária de uma bomba (200) para aspirar a lama (102) do leito marinho através do fundo aberto para dentro do interior do caixão, a borda de fundo (20) da parede (14) do caixão permitindo que a âncora corte para dentro e se torne embutida dentro do leito marinho (100). Para se aumentar a resistência da âncora (10) embutida à retirada. O caixão é internamente dotado de um dispositivo de retenção de solo de leito marinho (30) que aloja e retém a lama durante o embutimento da âncora.
