Abstract

"USO DE NANOPARTìCULAS INORGâNICAS PARA MODIFICAR A VISCOSIDADE E OUTRAS PROPRIEDADES FìSICAS DE COMPOSIçõES FARMACêUTICAS E óTICAS". A presente invenção refere-se ao uso de nanopartículas de materiais inorgânicos (por exemplo, argilas sintéticas de esmectita) em composições farmacêuticas oftálmicas e óticas. As nanopartículas são utilizadas para modificar as propriedades reológicas das composições, de modo a aumentar a viscosidade, as características de fluxo, a lubricidade ou outras características das composições. A invenção é particularmente dirigida ao fornecimento de composições lubrificantes para os olhos e ouvidos e para aumento da viscosidade, afinamento por cisalhamento e lubricidade das composições de lágrimas artificiais.
