"DISPOSITIVO RECEPTOR PARA ARMAZENAR SEGURAMENTE UM ITEM DE CONTEúDO, DISPOSITIVO DE REPRODUçãO PARA REPRODUZIR UM ITEM DE CONTEúDO ARMAZENADO EM UM MEIO DE ARMAZENAMENTO, E, PRODUTO DE PROGRAMA DE COMPUTADOR". é descrito um dispositivo receptor (110) para armazenar seguramente um item de conteúdo (102) em um meio de armazenamento (111). O item de conteúdo (102) é armazenado em um formato seguro, e tem um arquivo de licença associado. O arquivo de licença (141) é codificado usando chave pública associada com um grupo de dispositivos de reprodução (120, 121), de forma que cada dispositivo de reprodução (121) no grupo possa decifrar o arquivo de licença (141) e reproduzir o item de conteúdo (102), mas dispositivos fora do grupo não passam. Um dispositivo de reprodução (121) pode prover uma chave pública específica de dispositivo para um sistema de administração de distribuição de conteúdo (CDMS).
