"SISTEMA DE EMBALAGEM COM BAIXO TEOR DE OXIGêNIO INICIADO POR UV OU CALOR EMPREGANDO UMA RESINA DE POLìMERO OXIDáVEL E UM PERóXIDO". é descrito um método de iniciação de retirada de oxigênio em um artigo de embalagem compreendendo um polímero de retirada de oxigênio. O método envolve (i) fornecimento do artigo de embalagem compreendendo o polímero de retirada de oxigênio, em que o artigo de embalagem compreende uma superfície interior e uma superfície exterior; (ii) umedecimento da superfície interior do artigo de embalagem com uma solução compreendendo um peróxido, para resultar em um artigo de embalagem com uma superfície umedecida; e (iii) exposição da superfície umedecida a um fator de iniciação, para iniciar a retirada de oxigênio pelo artigo de embalagem.
