Abstract
"RESFRIAMENTO CONTROLADO DE áGUA DE ADMISSãO POR DISSOCIAçãO DE HIDRATO EM UM APARELHO DE FRACIONAMENTO DE DESSALINIZAçãO ASSISTIDO ARTIFICIALMENTE PRESSURIZADO". Métodos e aparelhos para a dessalinização de água salgada (e a purificação de água poluída) são descritos. A água salina (ou de outro modo poluída) é bombeada para uma instalação de dessalinização e para baixo para a base de uma coluna de fracionamento de dessalinização, onde ela é misturada com um gás ou um líquido de formação de hidrato para formar ou um hidrato positivamente flutuante (também de flutuação assistida) ou negativamente flutuante. O hidrato sobe ou afunda ou é carregado para dentro de uma área de pressão mais baixa e se dissocia (funde) em gás e água pura. Nas modalidades preferidas, a água salgada residual a qual é aquecida pelo calor liberado durante a formação do hidrato é removida do sistema para criar uma tendência no sentido do resfriamento total conforme o hidrato se dissocia endotermicamente em profundidades mais rasas, e a água de admissão é passada através de regiões de dissociação em uma relação de troca de calor com elas de modo a ser resfriada suficientemente para que o hidrato se forme na profundidade de pressão. A água fresca produzida pelo sistema é fria o bastante de tal modo que ela pode ser utilizada para fornecer refrigeração, condicionamento de ar, ou outro resfriamento; o calor removido do sistema com a água residual aquecida pode ser utilizado para aquecimento ou outras aplicações. Em outras modalidades, a dessalinização ou outra purificação é executada em vasos "artificial" ou mecanicamente pressurizados, cujas modalidades podem ser comparativamente móveis. Tais sistemas pressurizados podem ser utilizados para capturar o dióxido de carbono de gases de descarga industriais e para fornecer o dióxido de carbono líquido.
