Este acoplamento é tal que o sistema de DLC suporta o sistema de VVTL. Este acoplamento é alcançado pela provisão de uma unidade remota para o sistema de DLC, que inclui placas para acomodar transmissões de voz/dados para/de assinantes ligados "por fios", tipicamente já no sistema de DLC, como também placas de acordo com a presente invenção para acomodar transmissões de voz/dados para/de assinantes "sem fios", esses no sistema de WLL. This coupling is such that the DLC system supports the VVTL system.
