Abstract

"SINCRONIZAçãO INDEPENDENTE DE LINKS PPP EM INTERFACES U~ m~ E R~ m~". Um método, em um sistema de comunicação sem fio, e um dispositivo MT2 sem fio (104) que proporciona a ressincronização de um link PPP em cada uma das interfaces U~ m~ e R~ m~ sem afetar a outra interface U~ m~ e R~ m~.Quando um handoff é realizado, de modo que as comunicações do o dispositivo MT2 móvel (104) sejam transferidas para uma nova BS/MSC (106), a interface U~ m~ sofrerá uma renegociação de configuração do PPP (figura 4) sem fazer com que a interface R~ m~ também sofra renegociação de configuração do PPP. Igualmente, quando a interface R~ m~ sofrer renegociação de configuração do PPP (figura 6), a interface U~ m~ não sofrerá renegociação de configuração do PPP.
