Abstract
"PROCESSOS PARA GERAR UM DOCUMENTO, E PARA VERIFICAR A AUTENTICIDADE DE UM DOCUMENTO, E, SISTEMA PARA GERAR DOCUMENTOS". Um processo de gerar documentos e verificar sua autenticidade primeiramente requer acesso do controlador a um sistema de criação de documento para que somente usuários autorizados possam criar documentos. Dados de usuário que identificam um usuário do sistema são gravados, e dados de verificação são gerados a partir tanto dos dados de usuário como dados correspondentes a documentos gerados usando o sistema. Dados de autenticação correspondentes aos dados de verificação são gravados, e o documento é então impresso com uma parte legível por máquina contendo os dados de verificação. A parte legível por máquina é tipicamente um código de barras ou símbolo bidimensional. A process of generating documents and verifying their authenticity first requires controller access to a document creation system so that only authorized users can create documents. User data that identifies a system user is recorded, and verification data is generated from both user data and data corresponding to documents generated using the system. Authentication data corresponding to the verification data is recorded, and the document is then printed with a machine-readable part containing the verification data. The machine-readable part is typically a barcode or two-dimensional symbol. When the document is presented, the verification data is read from it, for example by optical scanning, and compared with retrieved authentication data to indicate whether or not the document is authentic.
