Abstract
The gold catalyst for electrochemical oxidation of carbonfuels, methanol and methane shall be used in the manufacture offuel components. It is suitable for the neutralization ofpollutions, basically of carbon oxide, from the carbon fuel. Theactive component of the catalyst is a complex containing gold from0.1-2.5 wt.% and reduceable oxide from the group of the transitionmetals having concentrations of the preceding metals from 0.1 to 5wt.%. The catalyst carrier consists of oxides of cerium, zirconiumand titanium, and its operational temperatures range from 0 to650oC.10 claims
