Abstract

The sealed aquarium unit consists of side, end and base panels of glass. The panels are joined with silicone seals. A compartment also made from glass panels has a cover across one end of the aquarium at the top. - A panel of the compartment faces towards the inside of the aquarium and has several holes in it. The holes allow tubes or electrical cables to be passed through the panel to provide for a ballast-starter and other electrical accessories.
