Abstract

The conglomerate is particularly intended for producing thin-walled structural shell elements and consists of glass fibres bonded with cement, sand, and trachyte tuff-stone (compacted volcanic fragments). The latter admixture inhibits the alkalinity resulting from the cement, its dosage being determined by the application, required water resistance, plasticity, and stability in the presence of salts and acids. - The glass fibres in the conglomerate are thus sheathed in material with flexibility and a wall thickness in excess of the cement particle size. Adhesion is increased by water-glass which incorporates silicates in the sheathing material.

BESCHERMDE GLASVEZELCONGLOI. IERAAT MET CEHENT ZAND EN TRACHIET TUFSTEEN.

Aanvraag door hanneste Paul, Meersstraat 2 a Nazareth.

   Application for inventive patent.

PROTECTED FIBERGLASS CONGLOI. IERATE WITH CEHENT SAND AND TRACHITE TUFSTONE.

Inquiry by hanneste Paul, Meersstraat 2 a Nazareth.

This invention patent concerns the combination of a conglomerate in which, on the one hand, the action of the alkalite from the cement is inhibited by adding trachite tuff, t Correct amount in function of the application, waterproofing, plastic processing, and the increase of stability t. o. v. salts and acids. ) and, on the other hand, a protection of the glass fiber strand by means of a plastic gauge, with wall thickness greater than the growth grain diameter of a normal cement crystal.

This plastic engine is silicated with water glass to increase the adhesion in the conglomerate.

The further processing of the G. R. C. can best be done as is determined in the international classics
