Abstract
The dyestuff components which appear colourless comprizes agglomerates of a granular material and a dry finely divided dyestuff of particle size is not >=150 mu. The granular material is pref. a detergent or a hydratable polyphosphate salt and the dyestuff is e.g. Ultramarine Blue (C.I. 77007 - Blue pigment 29) Polar-Brilliant Blue (C.I. 61135 - Acid Blue 127) etc. The dyestuff components are prepared by (A) mixing 0.001-10% of the dyestuff with 90-99.99 % of the granular component having an ave. particle size of 150-1000 mu, and (b) spraying product of (a) with 1-15% of a liquid, suitably an ethylene glycol polymer to form agglomerates.
