Abstract

Friction joining device has a frame, a part inter-locking by friction with the frame, and a pin introduced into the frame for effecting a movement relative to the frame, the part having a tube for receiving the pin and exercising a frictional grip on the pin in order to prevent all movement relative to the frame. Esp. useful for sunshade assemblies for automobiles but can also be used as supports for laboratory apparatus, and movable parts of toys. The device is easily assembled, and the pin provides a sufficient degree of friction without causing stress in the various parts.
