<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>

Electric soldering iron. To ensure rapid heating of the tip in electric solders and in a reduced volume, the electric soldering iron covered by this patent has been designed.
In order to fix the subject of the invention properly, without however limiting it, in the accompanying drawing:
Figure I shows a known soldering iron tip.
Figure 2 shows a soldering iron tip according to the invention (with a hollow).
FIG. 5 shows a soldering iron tip according to the invention (with two hollows).
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
Figure 4 shows an element with a round section and a circular recess.
Figure 5 shows schematically on a large scale and cutting the internal heating element placed in a hole.
FIG. 6 shows an exterior front view of an electric soldering iron with an orientable head and with a heating element (the line in phantom lines shows the oscillating assembly in the extreme position.
Figure 7 shows in exterior half-view and in half-section, a side view corresponding to Figure 6.
This electric soldering iron established according to the invention essentially comprises: the tip a comprising a hole a1 where the heating element is housed formed in the center by a core b in mica which is coated by a bare cabling or electric resistance that in suitable conductive material and, either in the form of a strip or aspirated wire coated in an envelope d in mica, the whole coated in a metal envelope e; the whole housed fully in the hollow a1 of the corresponding purlin.
Thus constituted, there is therefore a heating element from the inside which ensures the maximum heating of the tip by excluding the heating of the casing supporting the tip.
This frame $ is made up of two half-housings f coupled together and fixed by an external bolt f2, axially by a bolt $ with corresponding tubular spacer.
On the other hand, two round half-bosses f1 form oscillating surfaces with regard to the round shells h1 formed at the end of the handle in two parts, h, coupled by @
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
the bolt ± the half-sleeves are taken at the base in a wooden handle 1 having a female socket at the end
As can be seen the incoming current son (not shown) are therefore protected and housed in the handle which at the end has a notch allowing the passage of the conductive wire.
