Abstract
A central processing unit (10) connected via communication channels to several operator terminals (30), a service selection device (40) and a calling device (50), is arranged and organized periodically to produce a simulation of the estimated activity of work stations provided with operator terminals (30) according to changes in the demand for services. The central processing unit (10) periodically determines a degree of congestion (ENC) for each service request on the basis of predetermined and stored parameters and predetermined congestion thresholds (S1, S2, S3...), and is organized to call up predetermined actions to prevent an alarming situation from arising.
