Description

COMPLETE SPECIFICATION STANDARD
PATENT
FORM CONVERTIBLE
FOOTWEAR
The following statement is a full description of this invention known to me: S S S S S S S S S. 55 S S

S A single pair of footwear holds a degree of functional and stylistic rigidity not being able to adapt to different usage occasions and perform as flexibly as desired. For example an individual could not complete a skateboard session in one pair of shoes and then go out for dinner in the same pair. This is due to the wear and tear that results from skateboarding wuining the look of the shoes and this reflects poorly on the image of the wearer, being seen in unattractive, damaged footwear. Thus, the desire to use the same pair of shoes in this scenario, without social retribution or embarrassment is untenable given current footwear functional rigidity.
The possibility of a fashion conscious person having the same pair of shoes across numerous seasons is not entertained because the need to keep up with the each seasons popular colours, this is also not possible with current footwear construction.
The current invention overcomes these current problems of footwear functional and stylistic inflexibility by comprising an article of footwear, of which its components are detachable and different types of the component can be attached and detached. Thus, creating a functionally and stylistically flexible article of footwear.
One form of the invention has a combination of a standard shoe upper and a detachable toe component. This detachable toe uses Velcro, snap lock studs, 0% buttons, location pegs or any other configuration of suitable adhesive mechanism which allows attachment and detachment of a layer of rubber, suede, leather or any another suitable material to the toe region of the footwear.
The toe region where the component can be attached can overlap onto parts of the footwear's outsole or upper aid adhesion while in use as well as 0.00 allowing a greater area of worn material to be replaced, when attaching a 0006.:new toe piece.
The option to detach and attach numerous toe components allows toe sections which have been worn during any type of physical activity, from walking to skateboarding or playing indoor soccer, can be substituted allowing the footwear to appear more attractive throughout its life, while lasting longer. This allows the footwear to be used across many different occasions whether they are sporting, social or otherwise. In addition to the functional advantages the stylistic advantage of being able to attach and detach different coloured and styled toes, makes the shoes appear as many different pairs with ability to be worn with a number of outfits over different seasons.
