The actuating wheel is confined within a hole cut in a moving shell, which can move outside along the assembling plates and be fixed to keep a hole in it to exactly face against a hole in the assembling plates so as to enable the foot post of the door lock to penetrate through the both holes, whether this lock is adjusted in the short or in the long size.
In these conventional tubular locks with an adjustable device for two-size setting, the actuating wheel fails to be retained in place very well between the assembling plates.
Besides, the structural strength of these conventional tubular locks still can be improved so as to lifetime of the tubular locks.
Summary of the Invention The main object of the present invention is to provide a more convenient and simpler tubular lockset with an adjustable device for setting the dead bolt.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a tubular lockset with an adjustable device in which the actuating wheel is securely retained in place between the assembling plates.
The further object of the present invention is to provide a tubular lockset with an adjustable device of which the structural strength is enhanced.
The tubular lockset according to the present invention mainly comprises a lock case, two assembling plates, an actuating wheel, a fixing plate and a moving shell. The lock case contains a dead bolt therein and has a slot at its bottom for a pulling plate to extend therethrough. The pulling plate comprises two pairs of up-right protrusions for meshing with the teeth of the actuating wheel so as to provide mutual movement. The assembling plates include two plates, wherein the first plate is provided with a pair of extending .15 position members at its end to extend through a slot of the bottom of the lock case in order to hold a spring and the second plate is provided with plate hooks at its end for hooking ooo..i the bottom of the lock case. Each assembling plate has two round holes and an elliptical hole. The elliptical hole is used for restricting the actuating wheel to move in a linear direction. A fixing plate has a hole for the insertion of the actuating wheel. At least o. 0 two bulges are provided at the fixing plate for positioning the actuating wheel such that the actuating wheel can slide more smoothly along the elliptical holes of assembling plates.
The moving shell is provided with two holes for the round circumference of the actuating wheel to go in and to revolve therein.
