Abstract

A trailer hitch comprises a coupling body (10) and a coupling pin (19) movable in relation to said coupling body (10) between a coupling position and a release position, a pin guide (17) for the coupling pin (19) fitted on the coupling body (10). An adjusting mechanism (21) on the coupling body to adjust the coupling pin (19) between the coupling and release positions, securing means (28) to secure the coupling pin (19) in the coupling position and a housing (22) secured on the coupling body at least partly enclosing the adjusting mechanism (21) and the securing means (28). The pin guide (17) is fitted on a guide component (17) separate from the housing, and the securing means (28) act at least partly between the guide component (17) and the coupling pin (19).
