The connecting ele- 1922 ment has bridging elements (15, 16, 17) arranged 20-> between and at oblique angles to its top and bot- 23 tom panels Between these bridging ele- 3 ments there is at least one through-aperture ex- 2 3 tendiny between opposite sides of the top and B-1-z -29 bottom panels The cross-section of the 19 0-2 bridging elements is designed to give them a7 good rigidity, thus making it possible to increase 0 2 the size of the apertures while maintaining a high degree of stability, and in particular to improve 2 accessibility to the attachment elements. 22 (57) Zusammenfassung Emn Verbindlungsteil zur Verbindung von Bauelementen ist mit einem der zu verbindenden Bauelemente unldsbar verbunden und mit wenigstens einem weiteren Bauelement lbsbar verbindbar. WO 93/10314 PCT/DE92/00947 Connecting Element for Connecting Construction Elements The invention concerns a connecting element for connecting construction elements, which is permanently connected to one of the construction elements to be connected and which is detachably fixed. to at least one other element, with bridging webs provided between and obliquely to a top and bottom panel, between which there is at least one through-aperture extending between opposite sides of the top and bottom panels.
Such a connecting element is well-known from DE-OS 39 02 793.
With the known connecting elements the webs are designed in the form of bridging panels perpendicular to the respective top and bottom panels. In order to make the known connecting elements sufficiently rigid, it is necessary to provide comparatively many of the panel-shaped webs. But on the other hand the connecting element can contain a through-aperture extending between opposite sides of the top and bottom panels through which for example supply lines with an appropriate application, can be run and which serves as the seating of the attachment elements, by means of which the practicable through-apertures in the known connection elements of the provided panel-shaped webs are kept small.
The purpose of the invention is based on improving the connecting elements of the type mentioned at the beginning, to the effect that the stability characteristics are at least maintained, and increased as far as possible, but at the same time the size of the through-apertures should be appreciably jii I 2 increased so that in particular the accessibility of the attaching elements is improved.
This problem is solved according to the invention by the webs containing an effectively strengthened cross-section.
Preferably the webs have a T-shaped cross-section. There are also of course other conceivable profiles, for example L-shape.
It is also possible that various cross-sections of webs are combined together in one connecting element.
Since the webs have a quite considerably larger stiffness in contrast to the known plain panels, the number of webs are reduced in comparison with the webs of the known connecting element without the mechanical properties of the connecting element being degraded. It is even possible that in spite of a reduction in the number of webs an improvement in the mechanical properties is achieved. It goes without saying that with a lower number of webs naturally the through-apertures become bigger and thereforeboth the running through of the supply lines or the like can be improved and the accessiblity of the attachment elements is improved.
Other forms of the invention can be provided with the individual sides of the webs having recesses which are used for easier mounting of the attachment element, thereby for example giving room for movement of a spanner or the like.
Other forms of the invention can be provided with the webs the connecting element seen in plan arranged closer to one 1 T 3 long side than to the long side opposite this long side. In this way the accessibility of the attachment elements also can be improved.
Other forms of the invention can be provided in which oblique bridging front panels are fixed in two edge areas of the connecting element between the top panel and the bottom panel, and which are rigidly connected with each of the webs. These serve both as additional stiffening, and as a connection with other construction elements.
With the particular cross-section of the web, preferably shaped in the form of a T, the feasibility of producing a rigid connection attachment with side connecting construction elements is improved.
The invention is explained with the example schematically depicted in the drawings. It shows: Fig. 1 a schematic perspective representation of a connection element in accordance with the invention; Fig. 2 a representation of the connection element in accordance with Fig. 1 viewed from the opposite side wall.
The design example of a connection element depicted in the drawings shows a top panel 1 and a bottom panel 2. Drilled holes 3 to 6 and 7 to 10 are provided in the top panel and bottom panel 1 11^1 4 respectively, which serve as a seating for the attachment element (not shown). Each of the larger holes such as 13 and 14 are used as leadthroughs for supply lines (not shown).
The top panel 1 and the bottom panel 1 (sic) are connected together via webs 15, 16 and 17. The webs have an effectively strengthened cross-section. In the depicted design example the webs 15 to 17 are T-shaped, as is readily apparent. The webs to 17 are arranged closer to the long side 18 of the top panel 1 than to the long side 19. Furthermore in the depicted design example front panels 20 and 21 are provided between the top panel 1 and the bottom panel 2, which front panels are rigidly connected to the webs 15 and 17 respectively. The front panels contain drilled holes 22 to 27, which are used as a seating for construction units.
Furthermore it is obvious in Fig.l that the web 16 contains additionally a side totally denoted by 28, which consists of two essentially triangular-shaped parts 29, 30 which are rigidly connected together as well as connected to the top panel 1, the bottom panel 2 and the side 31 of the web 16. The side 28 ji contains a recess owing to the triangular-shaped parts 29,
