I LThe following statement is a full description of this invention, including the best iethod of performing it known to me:- This invention relates to improvements in devices for e transferring waste from mobile garbage bins of various sizes 1 into campaction bins or other containers of various sizes.
Existing forms of garbage bin lifters are notmobile themselves and are operated hydraulicly and are considerably more expensive than this device.
The mobile garbage bin lifter is mobile device that is used to transfer waste from mobile garbage bins of various sizes into compaction bins or other cantainers of various sizes.
The mobile garbage lifter is wheeled adjacent to the compaction bin or container in which the rubbish is to be placed. The mobile garbage bin is then wheeled into the lifter titled and of the m obile gar.ba binis ac forms a part of the mobile garbage lifter. the lifter is then placed immediately adjacent to the compaction bin or other container such that a portion of the garbage bin lifter T s underneath the container.
Ole" l ll. 1( (11 2 The mobile garbage bin lid (if any) is opened and a clamp forming part of the device is placed over the open bin to secure it to the device.
A winch handle forming part of the device is rotated such as to operate the winch and lift the mobile garbage bin.
A lever forming part of the device an. connected to the clamp and winch rotates on a pivot attatched to the device until it reaches a stop forming part of the device. A part of the device connected to the lever supports the bin and,/moves in a circular motion to raise the mobile garbage bin to an angle such that the contents 6f the mobile garbage bih-fall by way of gravity into the compaction bin or other container.
Once the contents of the mobile garbage bin has been emptied, the winch handle is rotated in the opposite direction lowering the mobile garbage bin in the opposite manner in which it c, was raised. The winch operates with a brake ,6 that the garbage bin cannot freewheel when lowered.
The clamp is removed from the mobile garbage bin and the mobile garbage bin is tilted off the grid and can then be wheeled away.
The mobile garbage lifter can also be wheeled away to another position if so desired.
To assist with understanding the invention, reference will now be made to the accompanying drawings which show one example of the invention. In the drawings:- Figure 1 shows the mobile garbage bin lifter.
Figure 2 shows the mobile garbage bin lifter adjacent to a compaction bin. A mobile garbage bin is shown on the mobile garbage bin lifter after it has been tilted into position ,and the Olamp fixed to hold the bin over the grid.
-3- Figure 3 shows the mobile garbage bin lifter with the obile garage bin having been lifted to the top of its rotationl movement.
Figure 4 is an end elavation view of the mobile garbage bin lifter in the position in Which it would usually be stored when not-used.
o The numbes referred to in the plan are the following parts of the mbbile garbage bin lifter (here list all the seperate component parts of the device and how they relate to each other i.e. the grid (5 is pivotally mounted to a projection on the base (11) and includes a lever portion (22) which is attatched to the end fastener 400* 0 assembly (27)
