Abstract

The present invention relates to a packaging element comprising a film of plastic material, a process for simplifying the opening of said packaging element and a machine for implementation of said process. The packaging element is characterized in that the means for facilitating its opening consist of at least one area which is inherently weaker than the rest of the film, whereby said area is constituted by a seam (12) with one or two threads (f) which is provided in said film.
