Abstract

The invention concerns a composition for treating wood which has become grey, containing an aqueous hydrogen peroxide acid solution. This composition is characterised in that said aqueous solution contains hydrogen peroxide, at least one organic acid peracid (between 1.5 and 5 %), such as peracetic acid or perpropionic acid, at least one stabilizer of hydrogen peroxide, and at least one strong mineral acid (between 0.1 and 1 %), such as sulphuric acid or phosphoric acid.
