Abstract

A closure device (1) for a front side (2) of an in particular evacuable cylindrical housing (3) comprises a cap (5) surrounding said front side of said housing with a front wall (10) in which a borehole (8) is arranged. A sealing device (6) is arranged between the borehole (8) and an internal cavity (42) of the cylindrical housing (3). The cap (5) is connected to the sealing device (6) and/or the cylindrical housing (3) by means of a coupling device (13, 28).
