Abstract

A device for interchanging wheelsets (1) on rails vehicles has a undercarriage and supporting frame (8) which, by means of a hydraulic travelling mechanism (4) and/or air cushion travelling mechanism (5), can travel in all directions on a plane (6) below a vehicle-carrying rail mounted on uprights; a hoisting mechanism (9) for raising and lowering the wheelset (1) consisting of a platform (19), a telescopic cylinder (18) and a pantograph system; and a rail bridge removal and incorporation device (22) with a plurality of vertically and laterally mobile arms (10) which receive the rail bridge (7a) in the region of the wheelset (1) to be changed in order to incorporate and remove the rails (7).
