Description

EDITORIAL NOTE 2016100046 - There is 1 page of Description only Complete Specification and claims: Lego Light Full description Lego Light is an LED lighting system which enables the connection of individual lights between each other without wiring. The light itself is shaped like a rectangular prism and can be connected in a linear form using two connection points which are located on either side of the light. An additional connection point is located on the rear panel of the light in order to allow for a concealed connection of the entire system to an electrical source. A separate light adapter, containing LED diodes, is of a square shape with four connection points. This light adapter allows to form different configurations of the lighting system. These include; * An 'I' shaped, straight linear connection: * 'L' shaped, 90 degree connection; * 'T' shaped, straight angled connection and finally; * 'X' shaped cross connection. The transformer/power supply is built into each light. Lego Light can be mounted to ceilings, walls and on 90 degree angles utilising a universal mounting bracket. The mounting bracket must be affixed using a single screw which will then attach both the light and light adapter to the ceiling. An alternative installation method follows a pendant approach and enables the lighting system to be installed on various heights, allowing for the desired light intensity and distribution to be reached. The pendant wire length can be adjusted. Lego Light is available in different wattages, lengths and colours. Claims (3)

1. Seek protection for the unique light interconnecting design which utilises connection points located on each light.
2. Seek protection for Lego Lights unique ability to form diverse lighting structures and forms.
3. Seek protection for the lighting systems ability to utilise a single electrical connection point rather than use multiple sources.
