Description
1 Description SugarTeaBags A large population of people drink tea, especially pre-prepared tea that comes in a tea bag. How about those who take their tea with sugar? A majority of people do so why not make it convenient for them to have a tea bag that already comes with sugar.We live in a consumerism world and it is all about convenience and cutting cost. By combining sugar and tea in a aE-tea bag consumers are very likely to enjoy this innovation. When we look at Hotels, Restaurants and Airlines, they gain advantages with this product as they do not have to buy teabags and sugar as separate entities, but just one. Furthermore, the convenience of this product in Hotels, restaurants and airlines will be of great advantage to them, but also to the general public at home and and office environments. The innovative involves the combination of sugar or any other forms of sweeteners into tea in a teabag. There are several ways in which to achieve this. 1. Tea and sugar infused together in a tea bag 2. Tea and sugar in the one tea bag however in separate compartments so the substances are not mixed until dropped into hot water. The tea bags would vary from having a variety of doses of sweetness. This ranges from tea bags having 1 sugar, teabags with 2 sugars to teabags with 3 sugars and an extra strong sweetness of 4 sugars. The same process may be applied to sweeteners and all other forms of sugar (rock sugar, caster sugar, equal, brown sugar, raw sugar and even honey and lemon) whichever consumers take in their cup of tea. They can be packaged in a variety pack which contains all doses of sugar/sweetener (1-4), so when guests arrive, the host can accommodate to everyoneaETMs needs. Or a family who take only 2 sugars in their tea may desire only to buy a pack that contains only that, (individual types, e.g. Pack of teabags with only 2 sugars) and so forth. The tea and sugar will be in-cased in the same material tea bags are packaged now; however, other materials may be used due to the fact that the sugar needs to be dissolved properly, so perhaps using a tea filter bag which has bigger filter holes can allow more substance to leek through. This however also depends on the type of sugar/sweetener used.
2 The size of the tea bag however will increase due to the added ingredient sugar and/ or sweetener. There are different ways in which to package the sugar and tea together. One way is with the existing design where the tea bags are doubled up on each side, therefore, one side can consist of the sugar/ sweetener with the other filled with tea. Another design is by having a large square tea bag with 2 compartments aE" split through the middle horizontally or vertically or diagonally and having the tea and sugar in those 2 compartments. Combining the tea and sugar is also an option in a pyramid shaped tea bag where more movement of the substance can be achieved, thus full flavour. Other designs may be preferred but these are the three main methods. The tea bags will be attached to cotton strings like how tea bags are attached today with a label at the end of the string, like how teabags are seen today. The labelling must consist of numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4 so consumers do not get confused how many sugars/ sweeteners they are taking. The label will be of the same size labels are now. The brand logo/name may appear along with the numbering and maybe even the type of sugar used. Like today, the label will be made with thin paper material- cardboard like.
Claims (5)
1. Exclusive rights to combine sugar (and/or sweetener) and tea together as a package into teabags, no matter the design of the teabag, whether the ingredients are separated in compartments or infused together.
2. A sugar teabag can as claimed in claim 1, contain different sugar and sweetener types such as caster sugar, brown sugar, rock sugar, raw sugar, white sugar, all artificial sweeteners, honey and even lemon. These sugars can take any form, e.g. liquid form or solid form.
3. In addition to claims 1 and 2, a sugar teabag may also comprise of the sugar content attached to the outside of the teabag e.g. cubed sugar, sugar liquid capsule.
4. A sugar teabag according to claims 1, 2 and 3 has an attached cotton string which then is attached to the label. The label made of paper material has printed numbers 1, 2, 3, 4 or words, one, two, three, four to distinguish the amount of teaspoons of sugar/sweetener in each teabag. The label also identifies the logo/brand name and the type of sugar it contains.
5. A sugar teabag can according to any of the claims 1-4, use a larger teabag with larger filtering for the tea and sugars/sweetener and/or use standard size teabag.
