Patents Act 1990 COMPLETE SPECIFICATION INNOVATION PATENT MUSHROOM BEER (GANODERMA LUCIDUM) The following statement is a full description of this invention, including the recipe that can substantially represent it.
MUSHROOM BEER (GANODERMA LUCIDUM) Beer brewing has been practiced and improved over many centuries. In the search of unique flavour, the invention of using the extracted nutrient from full grown Ganoderma Lucidum as a flavouring agent has proven beneficial to the improvement. This unique flavour obtained from said full grown Ganoderma Lucidum has consumer appeal.
The mushroom beer (Ganoderma Lucidum) in accordance with this invention comprises extracted nutrient from full grown Ganoderma Lucidum as a flavouring agent in beer brewing.
The nutrient in full grown Ganoderma Lucidum is extracted by submerging said full grown Ganoderma Lucidum into water at boiling temperature for minutes so that thereon the flavour of said full grown Ganoderma Lucidum is contained in said water.
This water with extracted nutrient from Ganoderma Lucidum is then used in accordance with traditional beer brewing process.
The mushroom beer (Ganoderma Lucidum) is preferably made in the ratio of extracted nutrient from 20 grams of full grown Ganoderma Lucidum to every 1 litre of water used, however other ratios can also be used for varied tastes.
The invention may be better understood with reference to a recipe of embodiments of the invention:- Water preparation nutrient extraction from full grown Ganoderma Lucidum Water 500g Full grown Ganoderma Lucidum 1. Boil water to 100 degree Celsius 2. Add thinly sliced full grown Ganoderma Lucidum to boiling water 3. Boil contain for further 40 minutes The above contain hereafter is referred as 'Prepared Water' Mushroom Beer (Ganoderma Lucidum) brewing process Prepared water 1kg Brewing sugar Yeast 1. Dissolve 1kg of brewing sugar into 2L of boiling Prepared Water 2. Top up the fermenter with 23L of Prepared Water at room temperature 3. Add yeast 4. Leave fermenter to brew within the temperature range of 21 27 degree Celsius. 4 days at 27 degree Celsius or 6 days at 21 degree Celsius.
2 Prime 350ml bottle with 6g of white sugar.
0 50 6. Store bottle upright at temperature above 18 degree Celsius for 7 days S7. Chilled before served.
