An abrasion protection section for an inflatable boat a) with an extended strip made of an elastomer material whioch can be fixed to the external edge of the inflatable boat, characterized in that b) the strip (18) has a cavity (24) extending over at least a proportion of its length which can receive a fixing means, and in that c) the wall (25) of the cavity (24), which wall is situated further away from the inflatable boat (10) is divided in the longitudinal direction of the strip (18).
