Abstract

A building system comprising a plurality of wall roof or floor members (10) each being a pultruded fibre-reinforced plastics structure and having a major face wall (12) which may be corrugated or otherwise curved and opposed side walls (14A, 14B) extending on one side of the major face wall (12) to form an open channel section. Adjacent members are attached together by connector plates (32), there being an elongate connector portion of head-and-neck shaped cross-section projection (34, 36) from the plate or side wall and received within a connection channel (28, 30) extending longitudinally of side wall or plate. Such a connection also enables members to be joined end-to-end.
