Abstract

Demountable electrical contact formed by the coupling of two hermaphrodite elements, each comprising at one end an elastic strip of rectangular general shape and split longitudinally, and at the other end, a device for electrical linkage with a conductor. Each strip is divided into three adjacent plane tabs (3, 5, 7; 4, 6, 8) by two longitudinal slots (15, 17; 16, 18) which are symmetrical in relation to its axis, the end (9, 11, 19; 10, 12, 14) of each tab being shaped in order to ensure that, by snap-fitting the opposite strips in a common plane, each tab of one strip is slightly inflected on one side of this plane and each tab of the other strip on the opposite side, two adjacent tabs of the same strip being inflected on either side of the common plane. <IMAGE>
