Abstract

A screw cap (1) comprises an internal screw thread (4). A braking element (6) located at the level of the spiral of the external screw thread (9) is arranged at the end (7) of the internal screw thread (4) opposite the base of the cap (2). When the cap is screwed on, the beginning (10) of the external screw thread strikes against this braking element wich exerts a braking action and limits the screwing movement.
