Abstract

A cleaning article shaped as a glove or sponge for cleaning and polishing purposes has two layers (2, 3) made of different materials, preferably one layer (2) of imitation leather and the other layer (3) of fleece. In the inner cavity (4) of the gloove, or upon the sponge, between the absorbing and swellable imitation leather layer (2) and the fleece layer (3), is arranged a flexible humidity barrier (5) in the form of a layer impervious to humidity that extends over the entire inner surface of one of the layers (2 or 3).
