Abstract

Plastic frame for windows, doors or the like, having at least one frame spar which consists of a multi-compartment profile and has an end face which faces an adjacent spar of a second frame, from which end face projects a frame covering which covers the gap between the two frames, and which spar has a metal reinforcement profile. To make the plastic frame more burglar-proof, it is designed in such a way that the reinforcement profile is an L-shaped outer cover strip, one leg of which covers the end face of the frame spar and the other leg of which covers the frame-covering surface on the gap side.
