Abstract

The device has a slide band, and a supply device made of plastic for a valve bag (90) stacked in a bundle. A separating device receives the valve bag from the bundle, and an aligning device (6) and a transport device are provided for the isolated valve bag. The aligning device is arranged in a running direction after the separating device. The aligning device comprise grippers (61, 61 ') and height control systems i.e. height sensors (82, 82') for vertically aligning the valve bag along a lift guide, and a spreading device. An independent claim is also included for a method for attaching a valve bag on a filling tube of a filling machine.
