Abstract
A propellant charge igniter comprises an ignition tube (4) having a sleeved tube (7) with openings (8) and a thin-walled protective tube (9) containing the ignition charge (11) and arranged in the sleeved tube. The protective tube is sealed from moisture on its end facing the head part (2) by a cap connected to the protective tube.
