Abstract

1. Continuous steel casting chill mould with two oppositely arranged cooled wide side walls (1, 2) and with narrow side walls (3, 4) adjustably arranged with play for movement between the wide side walls (1, 2), wherein a one-part narrow side wall (3, 4) is pivotably arranged at a spacer plate (5, 6), which is displaceable for format adjustment and clamped between the wide side walls (1, 2), characterised thereby, that the narrow side wall (3, 4) is articulated at the spacer plate (5, 6) at the entry side and resiliently settable against the strand underneath the articulation (13).
